Each timber structure leaves our shop treated on all sides with a coat of oil based stain. Our oil stain offers a micro-porous, water repellent, UV and dirt resistant satin-finish. We offer a variety of colours all of which are shown below.

Yes. Our pergolas are available as a kit or fully installed, so you can build it yourself or have our team do it. Installation is available in the Greater Toronto Area. 

We can ship our prefab timber pergola kits anywhere in Canada and the United States.

Yes! Our kits arrive prefabricated and are designed for homeowners and contractors with basic carpentry skills. Plan on 2-4 people, since the timbers are heavy, and a lifting device for the beams if you want the safest and easiest assembly. Depending on the experience and size of your crew, factor in 1-2 days for assembly. If you’d rather not build it yourself, we also offer full installation within the GTA.

We highly recommend some sort of foundation or footing for your Highland Pergola. Most often, people choose to install a concrete pier to anchor the structure and prevent heaving with frost. That said, concrete slabs, concrete piers and helical piles are all suitable.
